Eli Broke his arm on Sunday. We were at a picnic at the park and Eli was on the top of the slide. As he started to go down he noticed a little tiny kid climbing up the slide at the bottom. Eli panicked in fear that he was going to hit the little kid and hurt him so he grabbed onto the side of the slide (not realizing how far up he was) and jumped off landing right on his wrist. After 5 1/2 hrs in the ER, Eli has a Buckle Fracture. He only needs to where the cast for 3 1/2 weeks. We got a water proof cast so on our trip to Lake Powell he could still swim. But we found out that he still can't get it in lake water.
Eli chose a Black cast. Not very exciting but they were out of Glow in the dark. He has been a trooper and if your going to brake your arm it might as well be doing something heroic.

That's too bad! Talk about bad timing!
Poor kid, but what a sweetheart! That first picture just melts my heart, he looks like he is in pain but trying to be brave. What a cutite! We miss you guys!
Poor guy! You have the best boys I have ever met. Most kids would just plow into the other in the same situation.
