Weekend

We had a great Fathers Day weekend. We went to the Farmers Market on Saturday (My favorite Summer activity) I got some great homemade bread to make Russ the best French Toast on Sunday. We had Breakfast for dinner and I made pancakes in the shape of ties. Also everyone's name. Russ slept most of the day due to working all night the night before. But I think sleeping all day makes for a perfect Fathers Day.

~Loved every second of it and can't wait to go back next year!

Eli Turns 6

Eli Had a great 6th Birthday! We drove to Denver to meet my Mom (Who shares the same Birthday as Eli) and Brother and we took Eli to this great place called Crazy Jakes. We all had a blast!























































Eli got a Sungie. If you have ever seen the infomercial you know what this is. He LOVED it.

Good Day

I don't know what I did in the life before this one to deserve the life I have right now; but I swear my prayers every day consist of at least 5 min of me just thanking Heavenly Father for my life. I don't know if it is because of my stupid health issues that I feel like I have to take in every second of my kids.. Like I don't want to miss a second. I guess I just feel more aware of how important every day is. (gosh, I sound like I am dying. I'm not!) Today I have SO much to do because I need to pack for girls camp and we are leaving tomorrow to take the kids to Colorado to meet my Mom who is going to watch them for a week and I have to pack them/clean etc.. But I found myself jumping on our trampoline with Ivy and sitting watching Eli and Ivy play SO cute together (Kanyon and Saul are at friends houses). I couldn't pull myself away to get anything done. And the thought came to me.. "that's okay, you are right where you are supposed to be, doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing". They are growing up way too fast. I love my life!

Kanyon is going to KILL me for this.. He made me promise I would delete these pictures. I didn't say what I was going to do with them before I deleted them... So here is to the future wife's of my boys.. Eat your heart out.. Life Lately

A few things have been going on- first: This is a joke Eli thought was SOO funny today. Russ was sleeping after church because he had just gotten off of a 24hr shift with little sleep and Eli put this fake poop we have right behind his bum. When Russ was waking up Eli said "look Dad you pooped your pants while you were sleeping..gross!" We actually love the fake poop and have played many funny tricks on people.





























As Russ was working this weekend I decided to brave the Airshow alone with the kids. All I have to say is HOT and after waiting for 2hrs for the planes to even fly we left right when they started.. Next year I will make sure not to be on time.






















































































































Also we are very excited the spray park is open for the summer. I am ready for my tan!
