Random

Well, we are heading to the Temple this weekend for some spiritual upliftment and fun.. Boy did I take for granted living so close to a Temple. This gives us a good excuse to get away for the weekend though. Should be great. I realize I have been a very boring blogger as of late. Sorry about that. I am sure I will have something witty to say next week.

Wild Weekend

We made sure to make the most of our 4 day weekend together. It included.. Bonkers, 1hr massage (for me), Roller skating, Swimming and our new favorite restaurant Golden Coral. The kids LOVE it and I love that they can get whatever they want and if they don't like it they can get something else. It was great to have Russ around, he always keeps us having fun.

Ivy was a natural at roller skating! She let right go of us and skated away. I think we may have a future Olympian on our hands...

It's hard work having so much fun!

Boring

Not much has been going on lately which is nice considering how crazy it was before and during Christmas. I haven't taken many pictures heard any cute things from my kids or had any sort of epiphany about life.. But I did take Ivy on a carousel the other day and she hated every minute of it. That's something I guess...

Can you see her hugging me pleading for me not to put her on that thing. While Sami is like hurry and take the picture so I can buckle up and ride away.. Sure, Ivy may be a little traumatized but what are parents for? She can ruin her own kids. Right!?

It doesn't get any better than this..

Seriously, 64 degrees in January. What lottery did I win? Russ even got off work early and was able to enjoy it.

This is a very common sight at my house lately! ALL the neigh boor hood kids gather here after school to play Tether-ball. It could be 10 degrees outside and they will still be here playing. Today I had 6 extra boys. Yesterday it was 5. I figure I would rather them come to my house and play so I can listen in on the conversations. Better than Kanyon wanting to go somewhere where I can't control what he sees or hears. They are all good boys.

The Festivities

My Mom and Brother were in town for the holidays, so we have had a few weeks of partying. Here are some pictures of the fun.

Christmas Morning Madness

Kanyon playing Tether ball at about 7:00am
(Russ made this for the boys, it was the highlight of Christmas) If you notice Kanyon is wearing Russ's shoes. In between opening gifts he would run back out and play. Best gift ever!

Uncle Jake pushing Ivy in a stroller meant for her dolls.

New Years!

Heading Downtown for First Night. Fireworks and all!

Puppet Show the kids thought was hilarious.
