River Rampage Tri

Russ and some of his siblings competed in the Green River Rampage Triathlon a few weeks ago. It was so inspiring to watch. I really think I should start training now for the one next year. Russ placed 3rd in his division. Pretty awesome!

New school again...

I am amazed at how resilient my kids are. I can't count how many schools/states they have moved too and from and they still pick right up and don't complain about another year of a new school/ new friends etc.. They have each other and that is all they need..

Kanyon 7th grade (Jr. High) I don't know how I feel about having a kid in Jr. High but thankfully Kanyon is the sweetest 7th grader I know. He is playing on the Jr High football team this year.. He is also playing the Saxophone again. He is growing up way too fast.

Saul 6th grade. He is such a smart kid; to date he has read the Harry Potter series NINE times. He is playing football through the city and loves it.

Eli 3rd grade. Eli is a fun loving and sensitive kid. He lights up the place around here.

Watch out girls! The Beecher brothers just moved ta town!!!

West

I love that we have moved back west. We have missed the Mountains so much over the past 10 years we have been away. A few weeks ago we went to one of our favorite places in UT. Moab. We went hiking, rappelling, river rafting, swimming and spent lots of quality family time together. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place!

Wild Summer

I haven't had a minute to slow down this summer. Moving closer to family has been great but I do miss the less busy days in Alabama. Here is a look at what we have been up too..

Four Corners. Each kid was in a different state. Pretty cool!

Big Day..

What a whirlwind! We Moved across the country and a few days later we Baptize Eli. It was so great to have family to join in on the special occasion with us. Although it was pretty funny that most of the family including Russ were playing in a golf tournament and were about 20min late for the baptism. It all still worked out and Eli is an official member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. We are so proud of him!! (If you look close at Russ's arm you can see his white hand from his golf glove and his very sunburned arm.. That's what he gets for being late to baptize his son!)

13 years and still going strong

For our anniversary this year Russ surprised me with an overnight bed and breakfast and a 3hr Zip Line tour in Atlanta, Georgia. It was pretty amazing! We were literally flying from tree to tree going so fast for 3 hrs. After enduring the worst electrical storm I have ever seen on our drive there we were very happy to have them bring us dinner into our little cabin that night. The weather turned out perfect and other then Russ flying down one zip line and not breaking early enough flew into me leaving me with a few scrapes and bruises, it was perfect. The zip line Russ was on was called "Big Daddy" So he got the nickname "Big Daddy, Wife Beater" for the rest of the tour. It was such a great weekend and I am so grateful I have a husband who likes adventure as much as I do! I'm a lucky girl! Here is to many more years!!

Back in action

It has been a while. We have been in the process of moving across the country. Before we moved I wanted to get a few pictures of Kanyon with his Saxophone. He loves to play it so much. Also my brother Jake came out to visit and we had ourselves a little photo shoot. So fun!
